The basic vampire costume consists of:
- a cape
- black suit jacket
- black pants
- tuxedo style white shirt, with or without ruffles
- cummerbund or vest
- dark, slicked back hair style, preferably with a forehead "widows peak"
- dark shoes
And of course, vampire teeth
The basic vampiress costume consists of:
- black or very dark grey gown
- small shiny tiara or blood theme earrings
- black choker, preferably made of velvet
- black or velvet wrist bands
- black or fishnet stockings
- long black hair
- black shoes or sandals

Vampires are known to live forever, never age, some having the power of flight and heightened senses that allow them superhuman strength, exceptional hearing and perfect eyesight. Some may even be able to change their form! Vampires must beware of garlic cloves, sunlight, anything silver and those carrying wooden stakes and crosses. Also known as "Homonus Nocturna", vampires can be killed by sprinkling holy water on them and you can easily see who is the vampire by looking for a reflection in the mirror, the vampire doesn't reflect an image!
